About
See where the Kudu and the antelope roam on the North Coast.
B Bryan Preserve in Point Arena on Mendocino’s South Coast spans more than 100 acres and is dedicated to the preservation and breeding of African hoof stock, including Kudu, Sable and Roan African Antelope and Hartmann's Mountain and Grevy's Zebra. Located less than 2 miles from the Pacific Ocean, each species is housed in a large field with plenty of space to exhibit much of their natural behavior. Experience the thundering sound of a Roan African Antelope stampede, or hear the unique “voices” of the Grevy’s Zebra.
Visitors to the preserve can take the 1.5 hour tour ($20 per adult/$10 per child under 10, by reservation only) and witness the distinct personality of each animal during their late afternoon feeding time. Be sure to pack your cameras as B Bryan Preserve provides a unique opportunity to experience some of the greatest endangered species in a comfortable, safe environment.
