The open plan cottage provides all the luxuries of today with the ambience of a Hill Station property. Setting the mood is a beautiful wrought iron chandelier, handmade by a local blacksmith and a romantic four poster bed, hand turned by local craftsman. The cottage has a second accessible bathroom offering a step-less shower, anti-slip flooring, hand-held shower, grab rails, wheel chair accessible toilet and more. Access via ramp. Parts of garden maybe accessed in good weather.The English Shepherds Hut is a special place to enjoy the garden, in all weather. Curl up on the daybed, turn on the fire and watch the garden grow. Read a book, write a poem and pen a postcard. The shepherds hut is a cosy escape in winter or a delightful summerhouse in summer. The light and sunny cottage offers delightful views of Edna Walling gardens and Mount Dandenong. A short stroll brings you to Olinda and Mount Dandenong Villages, National Rhododendron Gardens and a golf club. For Gardens lovers, CloudeHill and Gentiana Nurseries are very close. Folly Farm Rural Retreat has a garden full of history! The National Trust classified gardens were designed by Edna Walling in 1936. Ellis Stones and Eric Hammond's special rock work creates a very special magic. Here you will find Walling's signature trees including silver birches. Folly Farm welcomes your dog. Olinda is very dog friendly with many cafes providing outside service. Wonderful walks for you and your beautiful dog. When cancelling notice of 21 days is required for payment to be refunded, although an administration fee will be charged. Cancellations made within 14 days of the first night of the booking full payment is required unless cottage is subsequently fully booked then the payment will be refunded less administration fee and costs. Failure to arrive the full tariff is payable.
