Although it's not located in Santander itself, but in the nearby village of Maliaño, the fact that the Eroski shopping center is easily reached by bus and train, makes it a place where lots of people go every day to do their shopping or just to while away the afternoon. The FEVE Santander-Lierganes line train has a stop with a passageway taking you directly into the centre. It's a very busy place.Downstairs there's a well-known supermarket and various shops selling fashion, shoes, animals, etc. Upstairs there's a cinema complex and lots of restaurants, snack-bars, cafés and bars.
