This restaurant serves the best food in town, and the innovative chef makes sure that meals are as pleasing to the eye as they are to the palate. The light, modern cuisine features weekly changing specialties; typical offerings include crispy duck from the oven with savoy cabbage and rhubarb sauce. Roast duck liver is served with a mango-and-pistachio pesto. Another good dish is an asparagus ragout with morels and a vanilla froth. Desserts, especially the lemon soufflé with strawberries and the mountain-honey ice cream, are reason enough to visit. Ente also has one of the best wine lists in Europe, including many moderately priced bottles. A boutique, delicatessen, wine cellar, and bistro are attached.
