This is our favorite and one of the most popular dining spots at the port. In business since 1954, it offers polite service, cleanliness, and Galician cookery prepared with distinction. The restaurant specializes in shellfish, fish, meats, and Galician wines. Popular main courses include calamares rellenos (stuffed squid) or la lubina al horno (sea bass). The front window forms an altar of shellfish in infinite varieties, a tapestry of crustaceans and mollusks. Inside, the atmosphere is intimate and elegant, with formally dressed waiters, crisp white linens, dark-wood-paneled walls, and glittering crystal chandeliers.
