An extension of the Volta Hotel is the Dodi Princess,a modern passenger cruise built in 1991 with an insured guest capacity of 250. The cruise boat has three decks - a lower air-conditioned deck which seats about 100, a middle and an upper deck with a canopy overhead which provides a commanding view of the beautiful green scenery and great expanse of the Volta Lake. The vessel is 45 metres long and 12 metres wide and has a gross tonnage of 450 ton .It is fitted with the state of the art navigational and safety equipment for the comfort and safety of our guests.There is a regular cruise to Dodi Island, an island in the Volta Lake, departing the Akosombo Port at 10.30 hours on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.
