Travel the world of gardening in just a couple of acres at a serene haven. The Sherman Library & Gardens is only 2.2-acres but you'll find all sorts of exotic plants from distant lands. The collection spans the globe thanks to a Tropical Conservancy with orchids and other plants from Pacific islands, as well as a tranquil Japanese Garden. You'll see succulents, rare cactus, an herb garden, and a lush fern grotto. The library is a onetime adobe home and has extensive collections of works about the Pacific and American Southwest. Dine at the Tea Garden Creperie or Cafe Jardin.
