Tucked inside Chungking Mansions, this superb Indian restaurant prides itself on freshly prepared Punjabi and Muglai food. The interior is cramped but somehow everyone in your party will be squeezed into a seat, whether they like it or not. Little has been spent on decoration but no one cares because people come for the food, not the wallpaper. The tandoori dishes are the tastiest in town and you can request a mild, hot, very hot, or volcanic curry, depending on taste. The vindaloo can be tamed by a sweet lassi - a delicious yoghurt drink - or just order more to drink.
