About
This busy, sociable place is popular with both locals and travelers for its inexpensive, tasty food and fast service. Most diners eat alfresco on high-back wrought-iron chairs under umbrellas of woven grass. There is also a small air-conditioned section inside that looks onto the open kitchen. The menu is mainly Moroccan and the servings are plentiful. Pastilla, grilled meats, and tagines are available, or there is a good variety of salads, omelets (vegetarians will enjoy the veggie-filled Berber omelet), and hamburgers, though you may wish to pass on the burger à cheval (horse). If you're around on Friday, try the couscous. Alcohol is not available for purchase, but you can bring your own.
