Chamnuda Devi Temple

At a distance of 15 km from Dharamsala, on the right bank of Baner River (Mandi-Pathankot highway) stands the Chamunda Temple. It is believed that Goddess Kali killed the demons Chand and Mund at this place.The main deity is kept under cover and is not accessible by visitors. At the back of the temple lies a cave-like scoop, representing the stone lingam . Several brightly painted images of Gods and Goddesses located close to the Chamunda temple are also other attractions.
