About

Before its nightly transformation into a club for gente guapa (beautiful people), CDLC functions as a regular quality restaurant. Rather than the food or impeccable service, the attraction here is its sea-facing terrace. Not that the cuisine, with its strong Thai and Japanese influence, is in any way unacceptable, but true foodies may be suspicious of the fact that a plate of sushi can make it to your table in just under 30 seconds. Perhaps better stick to the lunchtime fare, which includes very reasonably priced salads, sandwiches, and burgers. The wine list includes some offerings priced to impress (you could, if money were no object, treat your date to a bottle of French Cristal champagne or Saint Emilion Cheval Blanc), but usually a far more affordable Spanish Albariño white or Rioja red more than suffices.
