A vacation in Cebu is not complete without going to the Bantayan Islands. Located in the north tip of the province, Bantayan is known for its white sand beaches and crystal clear waters. Having the same beach with the world-renowned Boracay, this place proves to be one of the most visited islands in the region. So before you start to picking up your bags and hopping in to the nearest bus, vessel, or plane for a trip to the Visayas in the Philippines, here are some important reminders. Know Your Route -To save time and money, you must plan your trip ahead. Choose the best dates for travels and pick the most convenient yet affordable means for your voyage. Upon arrival in Cebu, take a bus en route to San Remigio at the North Bus Terminal. After the more or less 2,5-hour land travel by SUV, Bus, Van or taxi, another 1-hour sea travel with one of the big (car) ferries from the Hagnaya wharf to the port of Santa Fe/ Bantayan Island is required.
