Marron - the island's prized freshwater crayfish - doesn't come any fresher. Visitors can take a tour of the marron shed and have tastings of our wines and sauces before partaking of a fine meal in the cafe. Flavours such as lemon myrtle, aniseed myrtle, (grown on our property), local Kangaroo Island honey and mountain pepper feature in our meals, and in our sauces which are also made on site. Of course, such a meal isn't really complete without a fine wine, and the cafe boasts its own label, Two Wheeler Creek. Diners can choose from a sparkling white, sparkling Shiraz, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz - all made from grapes grown on the farm's vineyard. It's without doubt a complete food and wine experience that captures everything special about Kangaroo Island. And those visitors who still want more can buy marron at the farm and taste the wines at the Two Wheeler Creek cellar door, where sales are available. Kitchen closes at 4pm daily except for in Winter (7 May to 31 August 2012 inclusive) kitchen closes at 3pm. Winter opening time (dates above) 12pm to 3.30pm.
