Alice serves her meals in a lovely large room bedecked with mirrors with a view out into the garden of this private home in Brasilia's swank mansion district. Chefs in the open kitchen prepare regional French cuisine, with dishes such as boar with red-wine sauce, or free-range chicken with spices and couscous. The wine list features some fine French vintages, as well as the usual suspects from Argentina and Chile. Note that there is no sign outside. In the Setor de Habitacoes Individuas Norte (individual house sector) where Alice lives, signs aren't allowed; make sure your taxi driver knows where he is going before you set out.
