Peace Race Bridge in Zbraslav |Peace Race Bridge in Zbraslav (Zbraslavský most Závodu míru) is the first bridge over the Vltava River in the city of Prague, specifically Zbraslav. It is a road bridge with sidewalks for pedestrians. Earlier, there had been an iron bridge, but it was not suitable any more due to a small load and width. The new reinforced concrete bridge was built in 1961 - 1964. It is 194 m long and it spans the Vltava valley at a height of 12 m. At the same time it spans the railway, so that the waiting at the railroad crossing on the way to Slapy recreation area became the history. The bridge was constructed by Stavby silnic a železnic. In 1997 it was repaired.
