Wurstbude

Gulou East Street and Nanluoguxiang intersection

About

This tiny hole-in-the-wall take out restaurant serves some of the best German sausages in Beijing. Naturally, most people are suspicious of this tiny booth-like fast food joint, but the place is owned by a German who imports his own meat and beer. You'll find everything is cooked fresh while you wait (and everything on the menu takes round ten minutes to charbroil). For a decent fast food meal or even a chance to try some German cuisine without breaking the piggy bank, this is the place to go.
