There has been a mill here since time immemorial, the earliest record is in the Doomsday Book for a mill that ground corn. Nowadays it still makes paper using original Victorian machinery, the Valman and the Coucher make hand-made papers in the old-fashioned way. You can watch them or you can try your hand at paper making yourselves.
