Woodlake Country Club

6500 Woodlake Parkway

About

This Desmond Muirhead-designed course opened in 1972. Narrow fairways, with streams and ponds, lead to small, fast and wavy greens that are well guarded by many sand bunkers. The lob wedge would be used often, on this course, if chip shots are to stay on the greens. The front nine is pretty open, but there are lots of rolling hills and the wind does become a factor during the warm summer months. This course is fun to play on and it offers a pretty good challenge to players of all skill levels.
