In May 2011, the old Valhalla castle restaurant in Tivoli reopened as Woodhouse, an informal, two-floor restaurant and bar geared towards the gardens' young, single guests as well as family visitors. On the first floor, a family restaurant with burgers, low-fat French fries and a kids menu also offers free soda refills and self-serve soft ice, and allows for great views over Tivoli's Plænen open-air stage from its large windows, while downstairs, Woodhouse's lounge offers an afternoon cafe menu and a 'hang-out' bar geared towards the Garden's popular Friday rock concerts.
