Woko National Park is situated on 8,265 hectares. Steep hills hide a profusion of plants, including two types of rainforest. The park is located 318 kilometres from Sydney and 30 kilometres from Gloucester on Thunderbolts Way. Activities available include bird watching, camping, swimming and bushwalking (the terrain is steep). Or just sit by the river and enjoy the view.A number of threatened native animal species have been seen in Woko, including the brush-tailed rock wallaby, masked owl and wompoo pigeon. Birdwatchers will be rewarded with many bird species as they walk through the various vegetation types.Camp beside the Manning River (camping fees apply) or bed and breakfast accommodation, self-contained cottages and resorts are located around the Gloucester area.
