Weston Park Museum, Western Bank (one mile from city centre), [42]. M-Sa 10AM-5PM, Su 11AM-5PM, closed 25, 26 Dec and 1 Jan. Formerly the Sheffield City Museum, it reopened in 2006 after extensive refurbishment. A pleasant and modern museum, particularly suitable for children. Galleries on Sheffield, the Arctic, natural history, art and treasures. There is also a gallery with changing displays. Free.
