Wemmer Pan's musical fountains have been brought back to life! It is really a sight to behold, as it has been 20 long years, to bring the once-popular tourist attraction back to life. The program started with the moving tune Chariots of Fire, and the multicoloured lights in the fountains danced to the music and followed the rhythm. This was followed by the Johnny Clegg song "Impi" - apparently it took them 73 hours to choreograph three songs, and most of the equipment had to be imported. Whilst my wife and I were the at least 4 000 people were watching them, and one can only be impressed by the sheer professionalism of the display.It is an ideal place to take the family, old and young, and if you go in the late afternoon, you can take a picnic basket along and enjoy the beauty around.
