About
This is one of the region's best-known restaurants, with strong connections to musical prodigies Bruckner, who dined here frequently, and Léhar, who lived next door and shared a garden and many glasses of fine wine with the owners. The restaurant's central section was originally built in 1540, and its old-style decor is much imitated. In summer, you can dine or just savor a glass of wine or coffee on the sun terrace over the Traun River. If you want a full meal, the delicious menu includes medallions of veal chef's style, paprika schnitzel or pork schnitzel, tafelspitz, and several kinds of fresh lake fish.
