Wat Chaimongkol is located on South Pattaya Road. The Buddhist Temple has various small statues of the Buddha and a huge reclining statue for which it is famous. The temple architecture is that of the Ayutthaya period. Designated as a royal temple, it is in a charming complex which has other buildings and some ponds as well. The surroundings are calm and are a perfect escape from the hustle-bustle of the city.
