Serving traditional Sundanese food, Warung Daun stands out from the crowd since it only uses foods that have been organically produced. No MSG is used either. The Gurame fish is excellent and served with a delicious homemade-style chili sauce called sambal. Besides the healthy food, another plus point of the restaurant is its pleasant old-time ambiance: the building used to be an old colonial house. But if you find it a little too formal inside and are looking for a more romantic experience, simply ask for one of the wonderful tables on the veranda outside. As only more costly organic ingredients are used here, the prices are a bit higher than at other comparable eateries—yet still very reasonable. All in all: a great place for a quiet dinner out or even a business lunch during the week. – Martin Jenkins
