Dutch dance group Don’t Hit Mama teams up with acclaimed choreographer Germaine Acogny for this vibrant performance at Amsterdam’s MC Theater on Tuesday 5 November.Wars on many shoresThrough an ambitious combination of hip-hop and African dance traditions, the production seeks to explore how armed conflicts impact the world around us. Four Dutch and four Senegalese dancers come together to express the painful but beautiful contrasts between their respective lives in Amsterdam and Dakar.
