Wander About - Kodai has numerous waterfalls and beautiful views not mentioned in the tourist guides, so wandering about can bring you to some spectacular place.The name of "Suicide Point" has been changed to "Garden Valley View" perhaps to abate the bad odour connected with the earlier name. It is a most dramatic location—with fantastic greenery and a steep straight fall in the rock—more than 4900 feet !. It has a narrow path with salesmen selling eucalyptus oil, spices , home made chocolates and other knick-knacks. The four of us clambered up to the edge of the precipice where strong ten- feet railings have been erected to stop people taking their last plunge!.
