Walavalkar Shivaji Museum

Walavalkar Shivaji Museum is situated at a distance of about 25 km from Chiplun and is known for the collection depicting the history of Chhatrapati Shivaji. There are numerous pictures and statues inside this museum that portray the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji. It took over 15 years and around one crore Indian rupees to construct this museum.

The museum was built by a social worker, Sitarambuva Walavalkar, who was also responsible for the maintenance of this place.
