Vogeldorp, around Lange Vogelstraat. "Bird village" was built in 1918 and 1919 because of a big lack of houses and were ment to be used for only 35 years. Though they're very small, the inhabitants love living here and never wanted to leave, so the city decided to keep and restaurate the houses. Nowadays you can still enjoy this special Amsterdam architecture.
