Village Mosque was constructed at the spot where a plate was found with Muslim inscriptions on it. The mosque that was built on the instructions of Sathya Sai Baba dates from 1978. It is believed that land was dug on a certain spot at the village, when accidents and other untold incidents began to occur. On the intervention of Baba, the land was dug by the villagers. After the construction of the mosque, all the accidents came to a halt.
