About
This famous country lodge offers a small menu of hearty American-style food in a lovely garden setting in the hills above the Sea of Galilee. You can choose hamburgers, grilled steaks, fish and ostrich, chicken in a basket with all the fixings, and smoked trout fresh from the Dan River, as well as original house specialties such as trout in an orange and Cointreau sauce. There's a selection of less-expensive light meals, and many locals stop by just for coffee and homemade pie (apple, pecan, or Golan boysenberry) or to talk over a bottle of wine. The scene is mellow and the clientele is largely into nature.
