This a round fort, called as Vatta (circular) fort.The fort is a historical one, built to protect the land from invaders by ocean. there is a beach very close to the fort. you can see Kanyakumari from here. it is 10 kms from kanyakumari. this is on the NH 7 road. the kids will love to go in and walk along the fort walls
