Open daily 8:30-18:00 Jun-Aug, 10:00-17:00 (W 10:00-20:00) Sep-May. The Vasa Museum features Vasa, an original warship from 1628 which sank just after being launched. Retrieved from the water in 1961, the ship is almost wholly preserved and is the only one of its kind and quality in the world. A must-see, especially since it is uncertain whether current methods of preservation will be able to maintain her condition in years to come. Adults 110 SEK, Students 80 SEK, children up to 17 free. There are adequate lifts to enable those less physically fit to see all levels of the ship.
