Vansda National Park, a protected area representing the thick woodlands of the Dangs and southern Gujarat is situated in the Navsari District of Gujarat state, India. It was once a private forest of the Maharaja of Vansda, where the king used to hunt animals. The National Park is home to animals like monkey, langoor, pangolin, python, giant squirrel, tiger, leopard, rusty spotted cat and four horned antelope. The park is covered with tall teak trees and certain parts of the forests are dark even during the day. Travellers have to seek prior permission to visit the Vansda National Park.
