Valerie Mc Gurdy Silkworks is a craft studio situated in Rathfarnam, Dublin City specialising in a range of silk crafts.The studio is situated in the 17th century courtyard of Marlay Park. Visitors can witness how a piece of silk is transformed into handpainted scarves and ties with vibrant colours and contemporary designs. The showroom has a large range of items available and each item is attractively presented in handmade paper boxes and bags. The studio also runs a limited number of silkpainting workshops. There is also a comprehensive range of silkpainting equipment and books for sale.
