In college sports, the Utah Utes [44] represent the University of Utah in NCAA Division I competition. As of July 1, 2011, the Utes are members of the Pacific-12 Conference (formerly the Pacific-10), along with nine other large public universities in the western U.S. plus the private University of Southern California in Los Angeles and Stanford University in the Bay Area. The campus, including the school's main venues of Rice–Eccles Stadium (football) and the Jon M. Huntsman Center (basketball), is directly accessible from TRAX, with one station next to the football stadium.
