This government—subsidised bookshop was intended originally for University Malaya professors and students. However non—residents or non—students from the public are welcome to shop here. Most books are lower in prices than those found outside the campus. Besides the stationery items and textbooks, Kooperasi Kedai Buku Universiti Malaysia stocks a wide range of hard—cover books and paperbacks. The selection of books on literature and linguistics is especially comprehensive. The shop takes orders from students and the public alike for books unobtainable elsewhere.
