Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site, 7400 Grant Rd, (314) 842-3298 ext. 245, [28] - Known locally as "Grant's Farm," one time home of Ulysses S. Grant. Former names include "White Haven" and "Hardscrabble," it was intially the home of the family of Julia Dent, Grant's wife. Once owned by brewery magnate August Busch III, who resided on the property, it is now administered by the National Park Service. Free.
