Opened in 1995, the Ukrainian Memorial is located in Tingüi Park in Curitiba , Paraná , and was erected in tribute to the immigrant Ukrainians who came to this region of Brazil in the nineteenth century. Were built there some replicas of buildings that show the typical style of architecture of immigrants. The main attraction is a replica of the oldest Ukrainian church in Brazil, São Miguel Serra do Tigre, located in the town of Mallaig , in the interior of Paraná. An exhibition of pysanky , icons ( icons ) and other objects related to immigrants on site is permanently open and may be visited for free.
