It is a History Museum located near Kuching, Malaysia. The Brooke Memorial stands outside the Old Courthouse. Dedicated to one of Sarawak's white rajahs, in this case, Charles Brooke, the second rajah, it stands at 6 metres high and was commissioned in 1924. At each corner is a bronze figure representing the Sarawakian community: Dayak, Kayan, Malay and Chinese. The plaques are similarly written in Iban, Chinese and Arabic script (Jawi) as well as in English
