The lake is fed by springs and snow-melt from mountains on the Changthang plateau. As a result, the water is now becoming saline Tso-Moriri is the most peaceful place .The water is dark blue and looks amazing at sunset. Its 220 kilometer journey from Leh, the road is good. Its really cold over there. Tso Moriri attracts a range of wildlife, including migratory birds, marmots and rarely the Tibetan wolves. When you goto Leh, visiting Tso-Moriri is a must.
