Amsterdam’s Stedelijk Museum teams up with cultural centre and nightclub Trouw for a trio of free exhibition and performance programmes at the club on the Wibautstraat in September, October and November 2013.A new perspective on modern artEach with a separate theme, the multimedia exhibitions take a fresh look at developments in modern art. Contemporary Art Club is set to feature film and video art by major names including Tracy Emin, Jeremy Shaw, Sarah Morris, Jimmy Robert and Cyprien Gaillard – all selected because of their strong connection with the pop and dance music scenes. Art in motionEntitled ‘Motion’, the first edition from 5 to 15 September examines the relationship between identity and dance. The second edition is from 31 October to 9 November and the third edition of the event will be held from 28 November to 7 December. Visit the Contemporary Art Club for free between 17.30 and 02.00.
