The Trishna Wildlife Sanctuary is a must visit place in North East India. The sanctuary comprises several water bodies and grasslands and thick patches of forests teeming with rare species of plants. The Trishna Wildlife Sanctuary is approximately 18 kilometers from Belonia and is well connected to Agartala by state highway. The wildlife sanctuary is home to the Indian gaur, golden langur, capped langur, hoollock gibbon, pheasant and many other mammals, reptiles and bird species.
