One long room with a few long tables on the cobblestone floor and a second room on the side are all there is to this local cafeteria-like setting, and don't expect anything too fancy on the menu, either. The cook makes a mean bruschetta al pomodoro (toasted bread topped with tomatoes over which you are invited to drizzle the olive oil liberally). For a first course, look no further than the spaghetti alla fiaccheraia, with a tomato sauce mildly spiked with hot peppers. You might follow it with the peposo (beef stew loaded with black pepper). Skip dessert and pop next door for a Vivoli gelato.
