Trattoria da Ercole has the enviable location of being in the lovely, tree-lined Piazza Minghetti, close to Piazza Maggiore and the Towers. Simply and functionally furnished, the atmosphere is welcoming and peaceful. There is also a wonderful summer veranda for eating out in the evening. The menu has local pasta dishes plus tortelloni with speck and zucchini, and second course dishes like pork cutlet alla petroniana. There is also a choice of vegetarian and fish dishes, and an ample selection of fine wines.
