Toronto Island Park is a gem that is part of what makes Toronto special. Enjoy the beaches, go for a long walk or bike through the island, enjoy Centreville or playing frisbee golf. In a few years the maze will be back. Each part of the Island has it's own flavor. This City park offers a wide range of experiences from children's amusement park, to bicycle touring, 1900's small cottage village with a school and firestation, restaurants and even a nude beach. The beaches (not all nude) offer some of the best sand and sun options anywhere in Southern Ontario and even in winter it can be fun to take the ferry to any of the ferry stops and just enjoy getting away from it all, watching waves or sailboats and freighters and even bird watching. What a wonderful place and don't forget some of the local restaurants too.
