Timberland is a well-known clothing company located in the centre of Cork city. Timberland started out as manufacturers of quality footwear, especially boots for hiking and trekking. The initial belief was that "if you set out to make a pair of boots, you make the best damn pair of boots you are capable of making". From this ethos has sprung one of the most recognizable brands in the world today. The company has diversified and now produces a wide range of clothing and footwear to meet the needs of both the casual and specialist wearer.
