What was once a no man's land while the Wall was standing has now become a bustling centre with the Sony Center, shops, cafés, and cinemas.The musical Hinterm Horizont, with music by Udo Lindenberg, has been thrilling audiences for the past two years. Lindenberg, the rebel rock poet, believed in a united Germany without borders more than anyone, with fanatical, relentless nonchalance. With his unmistakable music, lyrics with depth and unrestrained candour, he blew up the mental Wall in everyone's heads again and again and united hearts in East and West, long before the GDR was a thing of the past.
