The Veranda has recently won awards with the Go Texan program throughout the Texas Restaurant Association and the Texas Department of Agriculture. Chef James has shown his skill in the development of several recipes that have been published in major Texas magazines throughout the state. For that reason, The Veranda has decided to shift the menu to an Upscale Texas Cuisine. We are so lucky to live in a state that has such great beef and seafood. We will also be featuring some of the fabulous vegetables, herbs and cheeses of our great state. We will be pairing some fantastic Texas wines with these great new recipes, too. Look for the influence of our sister state, Louisiana, in many of the new menu items and a few of the recipes will feature spices from across the border in Mexico. Join us as we spice it up Texas style.
