The Skunk Train, 100 West Laurel Street, 707-964-6371 or 866-457-5865, [7]. The California Western Railroad runs between Fort Bragg and Willits. So called because it originally ran on gasoline engines with the corresponding odor of long-chain hydrocarbons. Old #45, a steam engine, often runs on summer weekends. There is a day trip to North Spur daily.
